The following example illustrates how to make a sketch symbol, which you place in a drawing, and it gets the raw weight of the part.

1. The first step is to open a drawing and insert a part for which a parameter has been selected for export. See Tip #1

2. The next step is to create a new sketched symbol by RMC on sketched symbols on the drawing resources. This brings you into the sketch environment. Draw lines, circles and text. The picture below shows 2 types of text. One is dumb text "Raw Weight". The other is <RawWeight>, which is a custom parameter-model, as a text property.

3. After entering the information, save the sketched symbol. Note that it can be placed with or without a leader, either by selecting it under drawing resources, or on the lower part of the Drawing Annotation Panel-sketched symbol.
